Frequently asked questions
How do I choose my five or ten?
Choose Any 5 or Any 10 at the top of Step 1, then click that many courses. Chosen courses appear in the tray on the right (below the courses on a phone); click one again, or the cross beside it, to swap it out. Once your five or ten are chosen the remaining cards lock until you free a place.
Do I have to add a live face-to-face course?
No. Step 2 is optional, and it is offered with the ten-course bundle only. You can add the ten online courses to your basket for NZ$1,400, or add one live face-to-face course via Zoom for a further NZ$1,000, NZ$2,400 in total. The live course runs on one published date; one-to-one is available for NZ$600 extra.
Can I buy five courses instead of ten?
Yes. Choose Any 5 at the top of Step 1: any five of the courses on this page for NZ$850, 15 per cent off the single-course price. The ten-course bundle is NZ$1,400, 30 per cent off, and is the only bundle a face-to-face course can be added to. Both are for one practitioner, chosen by you, with a certificate for every course.
What happens after I add to basket?
The bundle goes to your basket with your five or ten courses and, with the ten, your live-course choice recorded against it. Check out securely; the online courses are available within minutes of payment, and joining details for a live course are sent by email.
Can I change a course after purchase?
Write to us before you open the course you want to swap and we will change it. Once a course has been opened it counts as one of your five or ten.
How long do I have to complete the courses?
Twelve months from purchase for each online course, at your own pace. Each course carries 2 CPD hours and issues a dated certificate, issued by Healthcare Ethics Courses, on completion.
Does a Council or Board approve these courses?
No New Zealand Council or Board accredits, approves or endorses courses from any provider, and no course decides a notification, competence review, Professional Conduct Committee or Tribunal matter. Each course issues a dated certificate on completion, issued by Healthcare Ethics Courses, which evidences that you identified the concern and acted on it, and when.
Can an organisation buy this for its staff?
The Bulk Buy Offer is for an individual practitioner buying for themselves. An organisation that wants seats for several people should look at Course Licences & Member Access, where seats are priced against volume and assigned to named people.
